The upcoming Ullu web series Tandoor stars popular TV actors Tanuj Virwani and Rashmi Desai in lead roles. Tandoor web series was already in buzz as it marked the digital debut of Rashmi Desai. The show is loosely based on a real-life incident where a wife is killed by her politician husband.

The makers unveiled Tandoor’s trailer and revealed the release date. The series will premiere on the Ullu app on July 23.

It has been seen that actors were not promoting the movies via their social handles. This is especially common in the case of the Ullu Original web series. After the incident of Anupriya Goenka’s clashes with Ullu App CEO Vibhu Aggrawal, actors often back off from promoting the web series.

However, Rashmi Desai and Tanuj are quite confident with their web series. They keep promoting the web series via their social handles. For instance, the romantic song from the Tandoor web series featuring Rashami Desai and Tanuj Virwani was shared by both the actors.

Rashami Desai interacted with the media and spoke about her role and experience while working in the web series. Rashami Desai said, “As the script of Tandoor came to me, I was very sure that I wanted to do this show. The character is based in the 80s, and even then Palak is fearless, outspoken, and amazingly intelligent.”

“I’m quite sure that the audience will admire the change and versatility of an actor that I’m trying to portray here. Tanuj has been absolutely fun to work with and has been there for me throughout the shoot.” She added.

Tandoor web series is produced by Ullu Originals and directed by Nivedita Basu. Tandoor’s cast includes Amit Riyan, Kamal Malik, Sonal Parihar, Shyam Mashalkar, and Ravi Gossain.
